Nolan McNaughton has an undeniable appetite for sound.

 

Nolan's journey started with freelance projects in Vancouver’s film industry in 2010. From that point forward, there was no looking back—Nolan is on the quest for the perfect sound. His experience is well-rounded and encompasses several roles within the industry including sound design, sound effects editing, dialogue, Foley, ADR/VO recording as well as final mixes. Nolan also takes pride in his diverse project portfolio; he has assisted with the production of feature films, television, documentaries, short films, web series, commercials, and video games.

 

His strongest creative outlet is sound effects editing and design. Nolan is passionate about gathering field recordings to continue building his personal sound effects library. His love for travel and adventure motivates him to pack his recorder to gather unique sounds from across the globe. Nolan also finds inspiration within the creative process of collaborating with storytellers.
